EXCALIBUR TACKLE is based in Walvis Bay, Namibia and provide a bespoke rod building service to the big-game, surf and rock, light tackle boat and fly anglers of southern Africa. All our rods are made specifically to our clients' specification and requirements.

We have a dedicated staff whose aim is to provide a high quality professional service to the discerning big-game angler. Using the highest quality raw products that we can source from around the world. The rods when finished will fit the customer like a tailor made glove.

Not content with offering the best in big game fishing rods, we also import a selected range of tackle to suit the rods that we build, and are of likely interest to our customers. Reels, line, hooks, swivels, leaders, lures and a host of essential equipment to anglers venturing offshore, or heading for the rivers. The emphasis is on best quality product, and this by its nature keeps the range discrete.

We are also able to offer a guiding service to some of the more sought after venues in Africa, where tuition for specific species can be provided on site. This might include Tarpon in Angola, or potential IGFA world record catches, or other venues.
