We only stock a limited range of trolling lures, as we have a firm belief that for any given situation, these lures would fulfil most requirements. These are the lures that we personally use, and have had some real success with, whether ‘prospecting’, or being used in established fisheries.

We believe strongly in the adage that ‘elephants do eat peanuts’; meaning that smaller lures will certainly catch large fish, especially if presented correctly. Size should not be the driving factor in lure choice for a give species, but the silhouette profile of the local prey species. A smaller fish will be easier to hunt down, than one of its larger brethren in the same shoal.

From time to time we will stock samples of other lures by way of further experimentation in our own fishing, and these will be made available to our customers after they have been properly field tested.

All lures are offered un-rigged, though we do offer a full rigging service on all lures. Rigged either to our recommendations (according to a defined end use – species & baits), or to the customer’s requirements. We only use our stock components for rigging purposes, we know they have limited scope for failure.
